Tibby
Hospital Cat
Tibby is our feisty little house cat. She has lived at Best Care since she was 8 weeks old. She came to us as a stray and had visible deformities in both of her rear legs. She still had limited use of her rear legs but was unable to walk normally. She has come so far since the first day she came to Best Care! Dr. Channell and Dr. Parenton diagnosed Tibby with tibial agenesis. This disorder is when the bones in an animal’s rear legs do not form or grow properly. In Tibby’s case, her tibia bones did not develop at all. But that does not stop her from jumping and racing around the hospital. She lives in Joanna’s office and has a stroller that she uses to visit with the technicians in our treatment area.
