Dr. Steven Elliott
Veterinarian
Dr. Elliott is a native of the Midwest and grew up in small-town Iowa. His love for animals early in life put him on track to becoming a veterinarian. He received his undergraduate from Buena Vista University before obtaining his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 1995. After practicing for five years in Minnesota, Dr. Elliott found his way to fun and sun in Florida and has practiced with Animal Care Center, Inc., ever since.
In 2008, Dr. Elliott completed training at the University of Tennessee for Certification in Canine Rehabilitation. This became a special interest of Dr. Elliott’s after realizing he could offer more to patients who were recovering from surgeries and suffering injuries, arthritis, and obesity or needing more physical fitness.
Dr. Elliott lives with his wife, Dr. Kim Cox, who is a veterinary surgeon, their beautiful daughter, and a house full of pets. When away from the hospital Dr. Elliott enjoys spending time with his family, singing with the church praise band and when possible, playing golf and fishing.
