Best Care Animal Hospital now offers 1/2ml vaccines for cats

ULTRA™ Fel-O-Vax®! This vaccine is the first of their kind and offer a more comfortable injection with 50% less volume. ULTRA™ Fel-O-Vax® is made with PureFil™ Technology, designed to decrease vaccine reactions by reducing extraneous proteins and cellular debri. 

We also now offer BRONCHI-SHIELD ORAL® which is an oral Bordetella Vaccine! One less injection when your furry pal comes to visit us.

Puppy/Kitten Vaccines

First Visit 8 weeks of age

  • Complete Physical Exam with Dr. Elliott,  Dr. Channell or Dr. Parenton
  • Da2pp Vaccine puppy/ 1/2ml FVRCP vaccine kitten
  • ORAL Bordetella Vaccine puppy
  • Stool Analysis to test for intestinal parasites (please bring stool sample)

Second Visit 12 weeks of age

  • Recheck Physical Exam with  Dr. Elliott,  Dr. Channell or Dr. Parenton
  • Da2pp Vaccine puppy/1/2ml FVRCP vaccine kitten
  • FELV vaccine kitten (leukemia vaccine)
  • Stool Analysis to test for intestinal parasites (please bring stool sample)

Third Visit 16 weeks of age

  • Recheck Physical Exam with  Dr. Elliott,  Dr. Channell or Dr. Parenton
  • Rabies Vaccine both puppy and kitten
  • Da2pp Vaccine puppy/1/2ml FVRCP
  • County Tag puppy or kitten
  • Stool Analysis (please bring stool sample)

Adult dog and cat vaccines

One year after 16 week vaccines (pet usually 16 months old)

  • Complete Physical Exam with Dr. Elliott,  Dr. Channell or Dr. Parenton
  • Da2pp Vaccine Dog/1/2ml FVRCP Cat
  • ORAL Bordetella Vaccine Dog/FELV Cat (recommended for outdoor cats)
  • Heartworm Test dog only (blood sample)
  • Stool Analysis (please bring stool sample)
  • Pet Wellness Report

Dr. Elliott, Dr. Channell or Dr. Parenton may elect to put your pet on a three year cycle for some vaccines, but your pet should still have a yearly doctor exam, heartworm test and stool analysis.
